I attended Brigham Young University - Idaho where I completed a Bachelor of Science in Health Science, with an emphasis on Public Health. I began tutoring as a high school student, and then several years ago I became involved with teaching music lessons to young students. I've always had a passion for extracurricular activities - theater, music, art, and sports - and I feel those things make our lives well-rounded. As a tutor, I emphasize that students need to take risks and try to not only meet, but to exceed their expectations and goals. The fear of failure is what stops many students from reaching their goals and from being successful. I try and instill in my students that there is no shame in failing, as failure will eventually lead to success.
